I'm thinking you are wondering about healthy snacks? I'm not sure there is an age restriction. Bananas are a good source of potassium. Raisins are good for iron. Both would be bad if the person has reduced kidney function. My point being healthy is good, but varies according to the person.
Are you concern a senior isn't eating well or feeling well and you're trying to gets some ideas to help. That's kind of you!

One of my favorites is celery filled with something. Either cheese whiz or cream cheese usually. I also keep a bag of granola of some type. I tried Graze & got my first box free, but the boxes are so tiny I can eat one in a hour sitting. Not cost effective.

I often get a couple of large boxes of Corazonas or Kind bars from Costco, Sam's or BJ's and bring them to the Senior Center. The seniors there LOVE them. Never have had any dental issues, as these are quite fresh. Pricing is FAR less that a Q. Costco sells a box of 22 Mini Corazonas for under $10. Box of 18 Kind bars for under $19.
I live alone and am a senior, having celebrated the 30th anniversary of my 40th birthday and then some. Because of childhood dental issues, have been wearing dentures since my 20's. Kind bars are never a problem, as I buy fresh ones.
I buy many things in large quantities, and repackage in sizes to fit my needs. Other than the Corazonas & Kind bars, I don't bother with any individual size things.
Not practical for many seniors who are on limited and/or fixed incomes. Buying individual, snack size items can be QUITE costly vs buying regular size packages and re-packing in small Tupperware type containers or even cheap foldover plastic bags.
I DO buy the 8 packs of Breakstone's cottage cheese WHEN they're on sale and WHEN I have a coupon, as they then become half the price per ounce of buying cottage cheese in the one or two pound container. WalMart applesauce 6 packs cost the same (actually $.05 less) as a single 24 oz jar, so they are a good thing.
