For those that have this set, will the large hold a 5lb bag of flour? It seems like it may be too small. If not, what do you use the set of 3 sizes for in the kitchen?

I think a 5 pound bag of flour is about 20 cups.  It is always a surprise how big it is in a LocknLock.  Can you check the dimensions?

@Sakuya

 Have not tried  any flour in mine . The canister will not hold a 5lb pag . Also becareful with the tops . The  seals  get tight . I was removing the lid on mine and the stem broke off from the finial . Now I wiggle it and slowly  pull the lids off . I store coffee pods in mine

I got two, med green Flower Market and a black large Flower Market. The green one came with a loose top so dont dare pull on it. I, like you, pull on the lid, not the "crystal" handle. I used to put wrapped candies in them but I have regular ceramic canisters I got at Walmart I now use, and sometimes use my TT basketware Oceanfetti oval bowl to hold candies or fruit. I plan on selling most of my M-C pieces. I just dont use them as much as I thought I would.

Re: Mackenzie-Childs Canisters

Thank you everyone! I want to change out the clear glass canisters I have on my counter now. They are too big and I thought MC would be pretty and a smaller footprint. It seems like these will not be right for what I need.

I got the glass jars forever ago because I liked how they worked in Ina Garten's kitchen. I just don't need ones that are that big anymore. They don't have gaskets and I don't bake as often. Maybe I should just not have them on my counter anymore at all.

@Estellee - They are pretty just as decor!
