Fast Favorites Under Pressure
I just ordered it ![]()

Was thinking about ordering it, but heard her mention that it has some recipes from her first 2 pressure cooker cookbooks and then some new. Since I own her first 2 books, don't know if it would be cost effective for me to purchase it. One thing I don't need is a cookbook with duplicate recipes.

Oh, thanks for mentioning that. I have one of her old ones, but I am new to pressure cooking so I will get it for her new additions.

Did you know there are thousands of PC recipes online, for free?

Hi @Kachina624
I do know that, I've copied quite a few, but I like Meredith and the kind of recipes she likes to make. And I like having cookbooks on hand.
But I may cancel mt order after being informed it is geared to a 4qt cooker and mine is a six qt.
I wouldn't know how to convert for time.

@Noel7 You can use the same recipes in 6 qt as in a 4qt. Poor Meredith has really earned her keep today. All those TV presentations, then rush back to answer questions on the boards. I have a 6 qt too and don't even use a recipe most of the time. As long as you have sufficient liquid to make steam, you can cook about anything.

Do you have to readjust the time suggested, using a 6qt instead of a 4qt?

@Noel7 No, but make sure you have at least 1 1/2 C of liquid. The 4 qt may call for less.
