@QVCkitty1

I found packets of yeast a few weeks ago - I bought 3 strips

I don't even use yeast but I figure I might learn to bake bread

yeah, I bought bread flour for the first time too

I'm a baker but not the bread kind

@SharkE what is it about the White Lily flour - asking as a northerner

Just seems whiter and lighter consistency. More bread-e LOL

By the way, I lived around Evansville, Ind most of my life and

moved to Tx when I was pushing 60 LOL

Now , I'm in  the land of hot, hot, hot. Peppers and temps , too.

Sure can breath better down in Tx.  No humidity, come up here to visit

and it's hard to draw a breathe. then it rains to boot.

Yikes !

I am a Northern girl and I know White Lily Flour is milled from winter wheat which has less protein and gluten than standard flour.  It is light and fluffy. And great for biscuits and cakes and most other desserts.

I use it for baked goods only.  Winter Wheat is not the best, IMO for making pasta and bread..not enough gluten.
