@kathya1119  Thanks for the great input.  I'm experimenting with the one I got, and have been pleased.  It works fast!  Now I see why everyone loves them so much.  So far, just been using anywhere from 3-5 tbs of water.  Will try hard-boiled eggs soon, as I love them as well.

I had a Henrietta one for several years.  It worked good.   Now I have a krups that is good as well.
