@CLEM Thanks for checking on me. I've got to see the specialist late today. The pain has not subsided even with just having water, broth, and Jell-o. I have been having bad headaches the past few days along with the back and chest pain. I miss being able to take Aleve for headaches.I can only take Tylonel now with having A-Fib and blood thinner meds. I already had my gallbladder out years ago but the pain is strong now like when I had gallbladder attacks. I just worry about about damage to my pancreas. I hope it can be calmed down soon.

My air fryer must be lonely as I haven't used it the last few days. I am making the turkey breast for lunch for my husband. I have to cook it as it is all unthawed. Maybe I can eat some tomorrow. I have always appreciated what good health I have and I thank God for the excellent doctors in our area.

@MKR14  Hope your doc was able to help you.  I think I saw a commercial for an Aleve patch.  Perhaps this might be something to use.  Your doctor will know.   After I had my second hip replacement, I took Aleve which gave me a stomach ulcer.  So I know it can be bad for you.  But a patch might not have all the side effects while perhaps providing other benefits.

@CLEM Hello. The headaches have subsided but I am still on a liquid diet for my pancreas flare-up until Monday. Lost 5 pounds already. If it isn't better I will have to be put in the hospital until it clears up. Then to another hospital for an ERCP scope with ultrasound to see if I need surgery. I am hungry and weak and had a BOOST drink today but the doctor called me today and told me not to take them and have more clear juices. I have the throat spasmns and it is hard to drink juice but I told the doctor I will do it.

My sister just called me and bought a PowerXL 5.3 quart air fryer and loves it. Now she is excited too. Hope you get one someday Clem. Take care. Smiley Happy

Hi Ladies!  I can report that I finally do have an air fryer that actually works.  Ordered another Ming air fryer and, after washing it and getting rid of any smell, I made a piece of beer battered cot filet.  Came out very crispy and moist.  Afterward I re-heated cauliflower that I had steamed earlier.  Now I am looking forward to using it more regularly.

@MKR14  Hope you are feeling better.

@momtochloe  You will love about that and I also got a kick out of it.  Went to visit a 96 year old and really hip neighbor of mine today and told her about my tribulations of getting an air fryer.  She told me that she had read about these things and thought she might want one.  So, as soon as I can get some chicken thighs (which she likes), I will ask her down and demonstrate and show her how it works.  About 6 years ago, I convinced her she needed a Kindle because she could no longer hold books (she is very frail).  After that she told me that she wants to get a computer.  I showed her the basics and she was off and running signing up for online courses at the University of Pennsylvania and another one at  another one at Princeton.  So now she is ready for an air fryer.  I guess it's never too late to learn.

@CLEM@momtochloe@BornToShop @Gokat Clem I am so thrilled you got your air fryer. I will watch here for your comments in the next few days. Did you get your white one?

I had a pancreas surgery with a stent put in yesterday and two surgical cuts at the head of the pancreas so I am really sore today. I have a fat lip on one side where one of the scopes went down. They had to use two different ones to get the surgery done. Other than feeling like an elephant is on my chest I am pretty good-just tired. Amazing what they can do today. I spend the last four days in the hospital so glad to be back checking all your new air fryers out. It will be a few weeks before I have use my chest to exercise as @gokat and I got the Nano Gym on Evine. She will be in shape as I start. Smiley Happy

Thanks for the well wishes as it put a smile on my face. Now get air frying Clem and post so you can make me hungry. I have a cornish game hen defrosting in the refrigerator to make in a few days. Take care to all. Smiley Happy

Good for you, and I hope you soon will be making up for lost time preparing your favorites "airfryer style"!!  Big fan of this "add the crunch" gizmo here and still experimenting.

Long live the (and especially @CLEM's) airfryer!!!  HOOHAH!!Woman Wink
