I discovered these fantastic chips at a local organic grocery store and these are delicious!  I have never heard of these and there are 2 other flavors; Original and Mesquite.  I made a baked potato last night, broke up into pieces and sprinkled these on the potato.  A great alternative to regular chips with nutritional advantages!

Interesting!  Who'd have thought the root - rhizome actually - of the aquatic lotus plant was edible.  Were the chips expensive?

@ValuSkr $3.69 for that package, but I have no problem spending money for healthy alternatives!  I can't wait to crunch these up as a salad topping as well.  Dips...oh ya'!

Used in many asian dishes and eaten it as a crunchy topping when I orded a poke bowl (that was over a year ago - sniff). Mild flavor which picks upp seasoning much like rice or a potato.

enjoy!!
