Looks like a good little extra mixer for a busy kitchen. I picked up in the red from HSN. It can be mixing egg whites while I'm using my pricey mixer for other things.

Seems like a really ingenious little machine and economical in both size and price..  Let us know how it holds up.

I got enough sense to know it's not like my 300 Cuisinart LOL but, some times I need another hand in the kitchen and I like the way you can add stuff without it going all over the top of the beaters it's wide open all around for easier adding of ingredients. Take the place of me hand mixing egg whites while the big one is doing the batter I can have 2 stand mixers going at once.

Church dinners are coming up and I need all the help I can get. Husband is no help. I really don't want anybody else in my kitchen anyway. LOL

It all seemed good until I heard the presentation and they said she did it in conjunction with Joy Mangano. Ugh

I can see it as being helpful as a second mixer for light work such as whipping cream or egg whites, mixing a cake mix, or simple quickbreads, but I do not think that it would be appropriate for heavier baking such as heavy cookie doughs or yeast breads.

While they have been quick to point out that it as powerful as other mixers (i.e. KitchenAid), they do not point out that wattage is a measure of power consumption -- not a true indication of the power of the motor.  Additionally, at only 3 1/2 quarts, the bowl is too small to do any significant quantities.

So, if spadce is small, baking is generally light, or if one needs an auxiliary mixer, this might work.  I do not think, however, that one would be able to do any significant holiday baking with it over the next couple of months.

ROFLMAO

P on Joy, I need something to mix egg whites stiff while I'm tending to my pricey other mixer adding baking soda, flour, salt, etc. I only got 2 hands this will free me up.

That's a good point. It might be worth trying I guess since I have the HSN card and they have extended return. I don't do heavy duty mixing that much but the last time I made a bunch of stuff I thought I was gonna die!  I have plenty of space but I'm getting tired of all these appliances we have taking up so much space. Coffeemakers, expresso machine, food processor, grills, oh boy. I was going to get a Kitchenaid but they are big.

I like so many others cannot stand there with a hand mixer anymore.

I make waffles on Sun. and it requires egg whites beaten stiff that you add to the batter. I had to break out the hand mixer and stand there and get them going while the waffle machine is heating up and the waffle batter is twirling around on the heavy Cuisinart. Have to lay down the hand mixer to add something to the batter or get something out of the refrigerator. I'm busier then a one armed paper hanger to get this done and be on time for church.

this will give me freedom. LOL

No, hubbo won't eat pop up waffles in toaster. Only breakfast we eat together all week. He likes mine better then the cheapies or Waffle house. He works all week I want him to have a hot Sunday breakfast.

I agree that it would be good for lighter type of things. I'm considering it for things like cake batter and beating egg whites stiff..
