I bought several sets of these about a year and a half to two years ago.  I love them but the handles are coming loose.  One of them can go 45 degrees if you can visualize that.  There is no visible screw to tighten  I also gifted my daughter a set of these and they could become highly dangerous.

Re: Loose handles on Green Pans

@depglass - They were probably riveted, so no screw that you can use to tighten them.

Do you know what kind of warranty they had?  If that's not an option, you could try using Gorilla Glue, if you can get some between the handle and the pan.

A shame, if they can't be fixed.  I've never bought them; I always stick with Circulon and love them.

That's really disappointing but thank you for letting us know.

@depglass, I would go directly to their website and contact them, and see if there's been a recall on the product.

Re: Loose handles on Green Pans

Their warranty in general covers 5 years and requires a receipt.  However, the email link does not work.  These pans were offered as lunchtime specials many times and makes me think QVC got an "opportunity buy"  (meaning closeout) on this group.  The handle now rotates 360 degrees.  I'm trying the Gorilla Glue, what do I have to lose at this point?  I'll be very careful with the rest and also warn DD.

Green Pans will be the TSV on Wednesday Feb 7, 2024.

I'd be ditching them and starting over. It's not worth getting burned or dropping food on the floor when the handle gives way. TJMaxx always has good options for good prices.

@depglass - If you bought these through QVC and you still have the receipt, I'd be contacting them (try the Social Team).

Some states like mine have an implied warranty law and yours may do, too.  If so, both the manufacturer and retailer are responsible for any defects like that.

It's worth checking your own state's consumer laws, if you don't get anywhere with QVC or the Green Pan manufacturer.  But do that before you use the Gorilla Glue, as they could argue that voided the warranty.

And hey - if they're going to be the TSV on Wednesday you could always call in to say what's happened with yours!
