I inherited my mother's Corning Ware pieces from the fifties. Among them is an electric pot with lid. She used the pieces often and I love them too!

I never loved Corning Ware and got rid of it a long time ago. I think it is difficult to get really clean, and much prefer the ceramic cookware.
I know a lot of people love it, so for those who do, happy and successful hunting!

@homedecor1 That was a great find. Corningware lasts forever.
I have seven pieces of Blue Cornflower that I have been using since 1963.

I have 2. One is The Spice Of Life and the other is some sort of wheat pattern in blue. I just needed some casseroles!
I have 2 of the blue pattern. My mother gave them to me when she moved 3-4 yrs ago. I never used them. Was going to either give them away or trash them as they are taking up much needed room.
Well, after seeing this thread, I am now going to take to my neighbor who helps people sell stuff on eBay to see how much I get. She takes 10% of the sale as a fee. It's her side hustle to make extra $$$$$.

My mother gave me 7 pieces with lids she wasn't using anymore. Not for one minute do I think I could get a lot of money for them.

These are the pieces with lids I bought at estate sale.
Never had any idea the prices they get for vintage corning.
Now, I wish I bought some of the "vintage" color flowered pyrex that was at sale for a steal😉

A note for anyone thinking about selling on ebay: Just because someone has their items listed for a certain price doesn't mean they'll ever actually be sold—especially when there's a large selection of the same item. Like many of you here, buyers can and do quickly figure out that they can pick up a lot of vintage pieces from other sources for much better deals.

Dang, wish I owned a 3 qt. casserole dish! Wonder why that particular one is so expensive?
And the owner of that dish has the nerve to charge 15.75 bucks for shipping!!!!! Dont you think after someone paid 10k for the dish the shipping would be free??

I've got a small collection, mostly the blue from the 60s, and although I don't cook much, I find that I do use them more than anything else. They're the ones made in America and don't have the tendency to explode when under heat. I hope whoever cleans out my house when I leave this earth will use them and love them as much as I have. Would I pay $10,000 for a casserole? Not even if I had it!
