I guess I'm in the minority of the people who like this bone broth.   My favorite is the beef and I have tried some of the other flavors but nothing that I would reorder.  I've used the beef for several months ( not all from the Q) and I like it for a pick me up or to soothe my sensitve stomach.   As far as the sodium goes,  yes...it is relatively high at 500 mg..but still less that the others.  I compared the sodium content to the Knorr Chicken Bouillon and that was 1110 for a 1 cup serving.   10 oz for the Lono Life Beef broth.   Also checked out the Mazola chicken bouillon and 870 mg per 1 teaspoon, with 2 tsp equivalent to 1 bouillon cube.

For those reasons, I wouldn't toss out the beef and give it a chance if you're shying away because of the sodium content.  I also toss in a packet when I make beef veg soup or make gravy.

Why folks would literally throw bone broth out they didnt like the taste of because its weak or swamp water tasting i dont get. I bought and added lemon zest and or  Mrs. Dash to mine.  I would doctor it up and or use in recipes. I cannot throw food out especially unused/unopened. I cannot afford to purchase again but it was a great source of protein, especially when under the weather.

@MilitaryMom I am there with you--in the minority. I decided to try it when it was offered on sale with free shipping. I purchased the variety pack. It was less thatn at the store prices that I gooogled. I think it is more interesting than the average bone broth (aside from homemade).

I eat low sodium as much as possible and agree with you. Of course I rarely consume more than a serving daily. No sodium and some low are bland to me and not worth the trouble. Lonolife is more interesting to me with the chicory, yeast, herbs and pepper. I still have not tried the beef. My favorite was mushroom/chicken. I finally noticed the instructions on most are 10 ounces of water not 8.

Knorr Chicken Boullion--wow!
