Lofthouse Cookies - Are these the same as Cheryl's on QVC?

My baking friend called me today to tell me about lofthouse cookies she bought in WM. She said they were flaky & delicious yet a little sweet.

She sent me a picture as I've never seen them before -- then again rarely buy baked goods. They look just like Cheryl cookies sold on QVC which I received as a gift and thought were to sweet & chewy.

Is this a subsidiary of Cheryls cookie brand or the name of cookie they sell?

She made a copycat recipe today and IMO hers look perfect! Can't wait to taste one🙂🙂🙂

No, they are not the same. I like them better. Cheryl's taste to me like mushy unbaked cookie dough, okay for kids but I don't care for it. The are similar in that they're both iced vanilla cookies.

The cookies pictured look like the ones that are sold at Sam's and places like that. I don't recommend them at all.

I have never had Cheryl's cookies. The Lofthouse cookies are so good! Big, soft pillows of sweetness.

I don't care much for Cheryl's cookies. I do like Lofthouse. I think they are tasty.

...and I'm the opposite: I like Cheryl's cookies (particularly all the specialty flavors) and find Lofthouse cookies to be too soft and crumbly with frosting that is even sweeter than Cheryl's, which is not appealing to me.

@loriqvc I agree. Safeway has sold them for years. I find them too soft and much too sweet.

I've bought Cheryl's cookies for myself and family members (the packs with a big variety) and always like them. Mine were always fresh with a nice texture.
