Has anyone had a lock n lock cover that will not lock anymore? I have a round one that just will not lock.  Could it be the dishwasher?  But then I put them in there all the time with no problems.

Did you make sure that the o-ring is properly seated?

I haven't had this happen unless I'm not paying attention and either don't set it right on the vessel, or another boneheaded reason for me.  Smiley Very Happy   I'm a klutz!

Yes, it's all sealed - but it just won't lock.  I have another bowl like it, and that cover won't work on that one either.  Strange.  I will miss not having that cover anymore.

Well, darn!  Smiley Sad  That's no good.

I wonder if you put the vessel and the seal in some hot water (not boiling or anything - just hot enough that plastic can handle it) for a bit, then try to seal it up and leave it sealed, if you can, for a while, as they cool, so that both the vessel and seal conform to each other again.   That's my first thought, so I hope it's helpful.  Smiley Happy

@gloriajean. I think @chickenbutt 's idea about the hot water is a good one.  I never put them in my dishwasher.

I've seldom have had trouble with a lid but usually it is because I'm too hasty and don't have it lined up properly.

When my significant other fiddles with them he almost always has trouble with them.   So I've told him to just let me put the leftovers away instead.

He likes to hurry things along whereas I'm the more patient type

in the kitchen.  He likes to rough chop everying, doesn't have the patience for a fine dice or mince, using a microplane, etc.

He's a wonderful guy though and I have quirks that irk him, too,

so he's a keeper--especially in terms of being very handy with repairs, etc., and very thoughtful towards me.

I tried that, and it still won't lock.  Guess it has to be thrown away.

I checked it with my other lid just like it, but there's no difference, just doesn't lock.  Thanks for trying to help me.
