Lock and Lock - stain resistant?

I jsut bought K14337, my first Lock and Lock purchase. I brought leftovers with tomato sauce to work for lunch, in a span of a couple hours it stained the container! I thought this was part of their sales presentation- that they were stain resistant. Does anyone know?
