I've been using Lock 'n Lock for so many years I can't remember what I used prior. When I open my tall pantry --- most of my items are in Lock 'n Lock. I've had cookies in L&L for several months - and they stayed FRESH. I have all sized containers, ie, for cereal, pasta, rice, coffee beans, etc. I even keep my little dog's dry food in a large L&L.I buy lots of bread at a time - and most are in L&L's in my freezer. A few years ago, I had some ants in the pantry -- and all the food in my L&L's were clean. When I open my pantry --- it's so organized and I know what's in each container. I also have L&L's in my refrigerator. It's a no brainer and lasts a long time.

The difference between this product line and all the others (I've tried them all over the years) is remarkable.

These products  give you immense value for the small amount of money paid for them.

In my kitchen, food items are pretty much all either in L&L or vacuum sealed.   I have cereals, crackers, and other such dry goods in the cabinets in L&L, some of which are a few years old and the food items are still fresh.

They are perfect for nuts, seeds, and grains also.  I keep some of them that way in the refrigerator and freezer, although I do vacuum seal some of them in specific amounts, because it takes up a little less space.

I have been buying these products for at least 15 years and haven't a complaint at all.  I remember some of the sets I purchased that others here complained were no longer liquid-tight, so I put a little water in each container and set it upside down on the counter to test it.  I have never had one fail.

Now, all that said, I would not feel as comfortable with the ones that have flip-top type seals (like pitcher-type ones and that one oddly shaped one that has a big flip top).    I only have a few of those and, truth be told, I wish you could just buy parts and I would buy regular seals for those (except that one that has an odd shape to the top, as I doubt they would have that without the spout thing).

I placed an order and then canceled.  I organized my current supply of L n L and realized I don't need more.  Actually put some in  a box to donate.   I also use my for my dog's dry food, anything that comes in a bag like pretzels, cookies, dry noodles, rice, etc.  I think they are great.  I'm going to use a few of my older ones to store cosmetics that I'm not currently using.  All my leftovers go into lock n lock.   No longer have a cannister set out.  I put sugar, flour, etc. in L n L in my cupboard--saves counter space.  I hope everyone that ordered enjoys their new set.

You know what's also good for cosmetics and the like - some of the containers have come with inserts.  I have numerous inserts of different sizes (yeah, I have hundreds of L&L - but not 500 I'm pretty sure! hehe) and I use them in my bedroom and bathroom for so many things.

I knew I would never use those inserts for anything in the kitchen anyway, so this was a good way to put them to use.

I didn't purchase this new set either, mostly because I already have a lot in every shape except those round canister shaped ones.  But I did buy that set of pie pans yesterday.   Have an idea for those.  Smiley Happy

I always start the day on the lock & lock tsv saying I will not order those. I don't need any more. But I looked directly into it's eyes and now I have a raspberry set coming. Smiley Happy

This was my first Lock & Lock purchase and I'm so glad I bought it.  I have quite a few mismatched tupperware pieces and am always hunting for lids.

I recently moved into a condo and bought this set to save space.  What sold me was that you could stack them.

The set arrived yesterday and I am very happy with it.  It looks like there is a size to fit anything imaginable and I love the color - red.

All in all, very pleased with my purchase.

I said I wasn't going to order either but guess what??  I really like this set because of the different shapes of the bowls.  I weeded out some older "unloved" pieces to put in my yard sale next June.  I use Lock and Lock everywhere I have crochet hooks in one and lots of sewing supplies are in them.  My pantry is filled with Lock and Locks and things really do stay fresh.

The one item that I did not like was the bread keeper.  I found that the bread I stored in it got moldy fast.  I have a co worker that said the same thing and she uses hers to store spatulas and the like.  I have mine in the yard sale bin!

I wanted to get the pantry set that was the one day only on ITKWD today, but I didn't see the show until later in the day and it sold out.  Just waitlist on two colors I don't want.  I looked at the L n L items and seems they don't have much online now.  (will be interesting to see if that item is waitlisted in all colors tomorrow.    Guess I have enough pieces anyway.
