i used to use them in spaghetti sauce, but stopped after my italian friends say they never use bay leaves in sauce. i do use them sometimes in some tomato based soups.

  1. Kosher salt
  2. Fresh black peppercorns
  3. Red Pepper Flakes
  4. Basil
  5. Italian seasoning blend
  6. Taco seasoning blend
  7. Cinnamon
  8. Garum Masala
  9. Thyme
  10. Cumin

The real question is what is the one essential you cannot cook without?  For me it is Herbes de Provence.
