Temp-tations, as Tara says, is a family of colors, but color inconsistency is one problem TT has had from day one. When you buy a blue Old World piece, for instance, it should match all your other ones and those in the future. Color inconsistency is one of the major complaints about this brand.

That being said, I wanted to review and share some things I've discovered this week. I ordered off of TT website the new Classico pattern, and received one piece today in the cream color. I ordered it because I'm looking to tone down all the prints, and hopefully have some pieces that will work with many colors/patterns, and not have to buy, say a pitcher and platter, for every color and pattern. TT has a lot of different creams and off whites in their patterned dishes, but here is my experience in trying to use this new Classico cream with other patterns I already have.

First thing I noticed is that it is a perfect match for my Verona pumpkin in cream that I got this fall. It is a wonderful coordinating piece with the Verona spice as well.

I was hoping to use the Classico with the Cardinal pieces, and while it can be done, the cream background in the Cardinal is slightly lighter. If you are setting up a buffet, you (or I lol) would be the only one to probably notice the slight difference.

The cream/off white color of Floral Lace is only slightly lighter than the Classico, and I think it looks fabulous with my brown FL, and close enough for use with my blue and green FL.

I liked it with my OW in brown and OWgreen, but not too keen with it against the blue, yellow or cranberry, although again, many wouldn't mind. I have put away OW spice but I think it would be fine, as well as beautiful with FL spice.

I think it is the perfect compliment to my Vintage Grace Brown. I have no VG in cream, but I'm betting the two colors would be off based on pictures I've seen. I think the pattern is way to elegant to even try to combine with cream polka dot (I don't have any)and too brown to match the white dots in other polka dot patterns.

I'm not expert with colors, but I'm thinking that this Classico cream has brown tones to it, and why I like it with the colors I've listed.

There is a Classico baking set on Q, and after seeing the color cream in person, I know I'll be ordering it too.

Hope this is of some help to those who were wondering just what the Classico cream would look like or go with.

I have some other Classico coming in the gold, and can't wait to see what that is going to look like. I'll post about it when it comes!
