I also buy Bigelow brand.  It's especially nice when you feel a sore throat or cold coming on.

Coincidentally, I just saw this ad from Publix for the upcoming week.

Last night, after I ate my dinner, I had bad indigestion. As I mentioned upthread I keep a pitcher of strong lemon/ginger tea in my fridge. All it takes is about a shot-glass full down the hatch and indigestion is gone almost immediately. Makes going to bed at night a lot easier w/o the indigestion.

@SilleeMee I keep a big of candied ginger slices for when I have an upset stomach.  It really works!  And it doesn't take much at all.

Omg I love candied ginger! Yes, you got that right. It really does work for upset tummies. That's the reason I looked for that lemon ginger tea. Gotta watch the sugar intake with that candied ginger.  I get these dices. Sometimes I put them through a chopper and add them to some food. Not very much though!

@SilleeMee During very stressful days I find a square of good dark chocolate taken with one of those squares is a great therapeutic solution!  IWoman EmbarassedWoman Wink  I have some small slices that have a lot less sugar, and now I can't find those again.  I think I got them at whole foods.

I used to buy lemon and ginger tea and drink it a lot.  Even the store brands were good.  I would even drink hot water with a slice of lemon and a slice of ginger.  Two years ago, had to start taking meds.  Maybe it's the way my body processes ginger, but one of my blood test results started going very high.  Turns out, that ginger contains salicylates, which is a blood thinner.  Now, I only drink it once or twice a month.
