Usually the frozen dinners are high in sodium and not meant for daily use.

If anyone is interested, I follow a few healthy food bloggers that create wonderful recipes for a weight loss plan. They also list Weight Watcher points for all recipes.

If anyone is interested, I can provide additional information.

Here is a link to sign up for the Lean Cuisine Diet. I tried to register for it to see if there is a charge, but it's not letting me put in a zipcode to get to the next screen. So am not sure if it is free. https://www.leancuisine.ca/en/my-lean-cuisine/create-a-meal-plan/

Without sigining up, you can look at a sample of their 4 plans based on number of calories:

1200, 1500, 1800 or 2000 plans

This will help you decide, if it's not free, if this is a plan that might work for you.

The problem with purchasing diet foods, at some point you will need to go back to real food.

Ya know what? You won't know how, what to eat.

Everyone who uses diet food and prepared meals falls for the hype. Ever gone to a grocery store and notice who is buying the LC and the rest? Same people who drink diet sodas, diet cookies, etc. And they're still 50 pounds and more overweight. One never learns to eat healthy and have self control, with N.S. and LC and the rest.

The owners of LC and NS and the rest are all thin and healthy, because they're counting the money the earned from people who have no self control. Repeat customers.

Portion control? There are measuring cups, spoons and scales, they're available here on the Q.

Lean Cuisine food is usually high in cabs and sodium. You'd do much better eating ""real"" food

that's what it was -""I love this diet""! Thanks. Just to be clear - I do not follow this diet but there were a few recipes that I did occasionally use and I couldn't find them. They're good when you need a quick meal. Thanks also for the lean cuisine meal plan. Always looking for suggestions but again this would not be a healthy diet for me to follow long-term.

My problem with these diet, portion controlled, frozen things is what has been stated above---way too much sodium and preservatives and fat. Even tho it says low fat, if the fat calories is 50% of the total amount of calories, that isn't good either. I eat like a king in the morning, a prince in the afternoon and a pauper at night. By dinner time, I'm usually still full from breakfast and lunch. Works for me.
