Those are cute.......but i already have a 10 pc Corningware set of various sizes..... been 'working' for me for 30 years.  Don't even use - need 3 pieces.

Not over the moon like David over this brand = just another dish.

@fthunt I like the Le Cruset colors better than my old Corning,  but I don’t use even those all that much and, worse, I truly buy nothing nowadays which is heavy as the Le C are

@SharkE

@millieshops

 I have a few LC ceramic baking dishes similar to these and have always been happy with their cooking and cleanup performance.  I have put them through the dishwasher numerous times and they still look good as new.

No need  to fear heavy weight, because these are not enameled cast iron like other LC cookware.

@millieshops Corningware - mine are white with that little colored deco on front and back.  Very simple .......they wear like iron.......never a crack nor discoloration despite decades of dishwashe abuse.

@fthunt  sounds like some of those I had since the 1960’s and except for one I chipped somehow, they were fine when I donated as I was moving last month.  Even the chip is fine to use because it was on the outside.

Easy to give away because a few years ago I helped a friend dismantle her parents’ home and came away with a stack of Corning as my “pay.”

Only thing I have of Le C  is a stoneware baking dish that I  use for  my rolls

Don't want heavy cast iron nothing. One cast iron skillet I have is  half aluminum. Wouldn't take nothing for that skillet. Walmart, long time ago by Waring.

I goofed and said the baking dishes mentioned here are made of ceramic.

Not so.....they are from the LC line of stoneware.

I'm not surprised  @SharkE  loves her stoneware for baking rolls.

My two LC stoneware dishes do a great job when  baking frozen fish filets at our house.  Tomorrow night, we're having red snapper filets bought at Costco.
