Someone mentioned Le Creuset is now being manufactured in China and Taiwan? I HOPE NOT!

Not sure about the cast iron, but any ceramic pieces are not manufatured in France. This is the same for the Staub brand cast iron in France all ceramic pieces in China.

China produced stoneware, France produced enamel cast iron.

@Marciirene - Some is. If you find a piece that seems very affordable, it's probably not made in France. 

 

The cookware from France will probably say "France" on the bottom. Smiley Happy
