So I sent my 9x13 pan that had an internal crack showing on the bottom surface. I just called giving them about 3 wks (no one contacted me) and the woman tells me that it's not covered under warranty and the handle is cracked.........I said "What!", I packed that pan good with paper and packing peanuts. I said this is an UPS problem then she interrupted me once again and told me that they'll send me a "courtesy one time only" replacement and keep in mind that any additional pans I may send in will not be covered under warranty.
So under my breath I'm thinking, I'll never buy your product again.
WoW, if I abused my pan in any way I would say, hey, I did it, I ruined it, but I didn't, the highest temp ever used is 350 deg and only for lasagna, never used it for anything else.
Yes, they are sending me a replacement but seriously, I really have a bitter taste in my mouth. Now I won't even think about any of their pots/dishes etc. they can keep them, don't want them ever again.

I hope you have her name. I would send a complaint to the company. I have been using their products for many years and have had an occasional incident. They have always been gracious and very accommmodating. I really do not think they want anyone representing them in this manner. Good Luck

Was this one of their ceramic dishes? When I was at Sur La Table recently, I was told that Le Creuset ceramics are not being made in China

I wished I had her name, normally I write everything down but I guess I should call back and see if she answers the phone this afternoon.
As for UPS cracking the handle, that's another issue but I never referenced the handle was cracked because it wasn't, the bottom had an internal crack showing that was about 8" or so on the bottom of the pan. It cost me about $13 via UPS to return, those pans are heavy and I packed it really well but I guess not well enough.
I was surprised no one contacted me to give me their findings, no phone call, no letter so that's why I called. All the woman said was these are the findings from Quality Control and I did ask why would I have an internal crack, hate to use the replacement the same way and have another internal crack. These pans aren't cheap and very heavy so I was making sure where I put it after it came out of the oven, how I hand washed it etc.
I really like their pots and pans but no more, they lost me as a customer and I'm not even going to bother anymore just looking.
