I ordered my first Le Creuset last November, TSV Dutch oven in the color Provence (lavender). I love it and was looking forward to this month’s TSV, K51010.

I am disappointed it won’t be available in Provence, or even Cassis which was my second choice. So now I have to decide on another color. While I think they are all beautiful, I’m leaning towards cool mint or oyster. Any thoughts on these colors? It’s so hard to decide!

Since you already have a color, lavender, why not go with the neutral, oyster?

Thanks! I was leaning towards that but was trying to step out of my safe/conservative box. Haha But I thought the oyster might look nice with the lavender. Not that they are going to be displayed together, lol...

Congrats on your first LC!

I love solid colors, though not ombre, I have no ombre LC.  Love Neutrals too -Graphite from Crate and Barrel, and Cream and White too., I have different colors, I don't worry if I have too many. Many people have different colors.

Mint would look great, any of them would. You also might want to check other sites for this, or similar pan.

Graphite, one of my favorite all time colors.   It's a beautiful shade with a gold knob. Teal, Ink, would look great with lavendar.

I agree with the oyster.  You already stepped out of the box when you got the lavender.  Step back in it and keep it neutral.  I am so sorry you cannot get the color you want.  That must be very disappointing, especially since Le Creuset is a big investment and a lifetime investment.

I have a dutch oven in oyster color.  It's attractive, and it's a great neutral.

I order my Le Creuset in all different colors.  I love the bright variety - I have Flame, Oyster, Soleil, ceris, marseille, carribean(I think its aqua),

I'm on the fence on this TSV - If I do order it will be the mint color but  I already have a dutch oven that serves this purpose.

I have some oyster pieces that I love.  Is the piece you want available in meringue?  If so, you might consider that shade.

I ordered the Mint color .....On the LC site, this vessel is about 100.00 more, and no Easy Pay!! (although I pay it off when it comes and it's perfect...if not, I'm only out one payment).

I keep a LC or Staub cast iron pot on the stove all the time....they are too pretty to hide....my collection is on a bookshelf where they can be seen...

I chose Mint because I have the other colors in LC, and my Staub pieces are mostly dark in color.

I will keep THIS pot on my stove for summer...!!! It's pretty, light color, and nice for the season.

I like the glass top too (instead of a cast iron top, or worse, a "grill lid".

I've gone to ALL cast iron for my cooking. It cleans up like a dream, is pretty, holds heat, and I think the food comes out a LOT better. Especially oven prepared meals.

I have a lot of the Staub pieces with engraved art on the lids. ( chicken, dragon, fish, stag, christmas tree in green, and my favorite, the Santa large ovall dutch oven.).

Enjoy!!!

(I live alone and collect these things cause I like them. I envision that when I die, they will be put in a yard sale for 10.00 a piece!!!)

On another note....Anyone here have the Staub 5 qt cast iron enameled Chicken shaped pot that Willaims Sonoma carried years ago? They are collector items now. They show up on EBAY every once in a while...you can see them if you go put in  "Staub 5 QT cast iron hen chicken rooster roaster" in the search bar, under the "Sold" listings.

I always wanted REAL chickens but can't have them here...so I have three of these in three different colors and they are my ""Flock"...don't eat, mess or shed feathers!!
