Just saw a really cute set of two  Le Creuset Christmas theme coffee mugs as an on-line special.  Wondering if this brand, since it is stoneware, will keep my coffee hotter than other novelty Christmas mugs I use but which do not keep coffee hot for long at all.  Thanks for any comments!!

We have been using Le Creuset mugs for years. The handle doesn't get hot to the touch when put in the microwave.....which I love.

I can say they have absolutely no discoloration and still look like new after all these years and yes they do keep the coffee or tea nice and hot.

We really like them.

@just wonder If you want really hot coffee for a long time, get a Yeti cup.  You will be happy.

I'm tempted, they're adorable but they are hand wash only?

What do you think of the French press?  I'm thinking of picking one up.

I'd never seen them before now. I think they'd make a nice gift. Functional, clearly well made--and understated, which I also like.

The pain they have cost us, the evils that never happened.
