Maybe the TSV will be something like this  piece of LeCreuset, which I bought several months ago and use frequently.  It's just under 3 quarts, and it's shaped almost like a wok.

This is a style I wouldn't be able to pass up.

I just bought that over the summer and LOVE it!  I use it often and my husband does too.  I'm actually hoping for a TSV that I don't already have.

It would be nice for the Q to let us know what it might be before 11/4 since these are not cheap pieces.  I need to plan out my purchases.

I don't know why I'm thinking it's the skillet with the lid that can also be used as a grill pan.  Did I hear that somewhere at some time, or did I dream it up.

I hope it's not that piece, because I'm not in the market for something like that.  I get the Q mag delivered, but the Nov. issue hasn't arrived yet. I'll be sure to post as soon as I know something.

BTW, did anyone notice DV hinting that he wants to visit the factory in France?  He said it more than once and recently the vendor said that he's working on making that happen.  That's one of the perks of hosting - a free trip to France :-)  I hope, if he does go, that he makes a video for us to see the factory.  I'm fascinated by how things are made.

The skillet with grill lid probably is not the upcoming TSV. Thought I read somewhere that David had said they were working on an item entirely different from previous LC offerings, and the skillet/grill has already been offered on QVC, hasn't it?  Not sure.

I certainly would never want an LC pan or pot with a long handle like a skillet .  Makes it harder to store and seems like it would add needless extra weight.

The little burgundy pot I pictured in my previous post is also available in a  larger sizes.   I want one, of course.  They can be found at surlatable and williamssonoma, and are called "curved ovens" at one store.  The two stores do not sell the same sizes or colors, and colors in this item are limited. Unlike most other LC pieces, these have the newer matte finish.

I remember David saying it was nothing like the oven they were presenting, but I don't remember him saying it wasn't like anything they've ever carried. I don't watch every time he's on though.

I'm excited for this, and I can't wait to see it! DH gave me a set for a wedding present over 30 years ago. I just used the dutch oven today. I took it in to a specialty cooking shop once because it was stained and I wanted it to look like new. The SA there asked me why I would want to clean it. She said most people WANT it to look like that, so I stopped letting it bother me!

Mine is made in France. These days some pieces are made in France and some are made in China. You can tell which is which by the price! Smiley Wink

I don't usually watch David & the cooking shows (they make me hungry) However I would love the see him tour the Le Creuest factory in France!  That would be interesting!

I only started buying Le Creuset last year (I have 5 pieces now) after visitng France.  The food was so amazing and DH is into healthy eating & quality food now so I've been growing our collection.

If the item is made exclusively for QVC, I'm out.

The Staub TSV was a disaster.  Just about everyone on here got one that was chipped. I sent mine back but many kept them if their chip wasn't too large.
