Has anyone had issues with having ants in their Landies Candies stuffed 

pretzels?  Know someone that ordered them and open the Landie's Candied box and there were ants 🐜crawling around in the box. They called was issued a refund.😕

No, I haven't heard of that happening.  Were they chocolate-covered ants?

Just received my box of Landies pretzels.  No ants found.

How frequent was this complaint? How are the ants getting in the sealed bags?

No, but I found some on my kitchen counter from a delivered grocery bag on my step.  There was something sweet in the bag.  

UPS delivered the package on the ground...kind of normal, but the sealed bags have a hole in them  I have had open bags.  

Or, Landies is keeping its boxes somewhere it shouldn't, but would ants be attracted to an empty box unless something yummy had been in it?  

I certainly hope they aren't leaving out their candy overnight uncovered where ants can get into it.  Surely, they would see them running around.  

I'm expecting a box in the next few days.  I will be watching for the little critters.

For all anyone knows the ants could have come from the recipient's own doorstep after the package had been delivered on the ground.

Foxxee, it wa just today. Etoil308 Iwas at.this person apartment when they were delivered and got them as the delivery driver was walking down the hall of my apartment, he was probably about 50 feet away from  the apt. door after delivering them. The halls and lobby of the  apt complex are cleaned every morning.

You say some that ordered them, how many?  Sounds like multiple people you know had them delivered with ants?

I got my order a few weeks ago and they were perfectly fine and had no issues.

Foxee, I've heard UPS and Fed Ex don't clean the back of their trucks very often. But I'm assuming they may have come from Landis factory, etc.

Someone did mention when they opened the box containing My Grandma's Coffee Cake there were ants inside....
