I just received an email from my local grocery that they will be selling Lori Anne peaches for the next 4 weeks. These peaches are grown in South Carolina and supposedly are left on the tree to naturally ripen longer than other peaches then packed for shipping right at the orchard.
I hesitate buying peaches and nectarines because if there is a mealy one in the bunch, I will find it!
Are you familiar with Lori Anne peaches and, if so, do you recommend? TIA

I'm not familiar with Lori Anne peaches specifically, but being in NC, we do get a lot of South Carolina peaches in our stores. If they're not hard, just on the verge of starting to get soft, they're usually perfect within a day. I'm seldom disappointed in them.
