Is beautiful and right size for small families.

BUT, that thing weighs 9 lbs empty.

I got a skillet awhile ago at Walmart. It was half cast iron and half aluminum. Love that thing.

Nothing better then cast iron to cook or bake in,

I'm not a discus thrower or weight lifter. 

If your young , stout and strong. Like i was 40 yrs ago it would be a great buy. My ship has sailed. LOL

Do they ever post the recipes to the delicious looking food used in the Le Creuset presentations? If yes… where?? 🤷🏽‍♀️

The ship has sailed for big cast-iron cookware for me too. 

I'm wondering whether I should start wearing my steel-toed work boots when I use my cast-iron Dutch oven. Seriously. If I drop that sucker while pulling it in and out of the oven my arthritic, osteoporotic feet will be smashed to bone-pulverized bits. It also weighs 9 lbs before it is filled with food.

I would've liked to have started housekeeping 50 years ago with this quality  brand of cookware.  In the last 2 years, I've purchased a nice Le CREUSET covered braiser and a stockpot for my kitchen and am calling it quits.  With my husband gone, I cook less and less, so what is in my kitchen now will do for my lifetime.  

I also purchased 4 nice basic pieces for each of my girls, so they start out with quality cookware.  They are happy with what they have, but actually asked me not to buy anything else in the cookware line for them due to the weight.
