Kitchenaid Stand Mixer TSV Colors

Can anyone give me any insight on the difference between the Contour Silver and the Silver Metallic. I am on waitlist for Contour Silver, but am afraid of missing out on the attachment rebate which ends 11/5. Also, what color is newer. TIA.
