Kitchenaid Hand Mixer 9 speed

Do you have this mixer and do you like it?  I need a new hand mixer and this one seems to be priced well compared to the company's website.  Thanks.

Re: Kitchenaid Hand Mixer 9 speed

I got mine just a few months ago & have only used it about 5 or 6 times.  So far I like it, & it's not too heavy for my arthritic hands.  I also like the fact that I can store it in a drawer.  I love my KA stand mixer, but I think I'll have to give it to a family member since I hardly ever use it any more.  I hope you like it if you decide to buy one.

I have it and like it.  I bake at least 300 dozen cookies at Christmas time and it has held up well for over 2 years.  I would definitely recommend it.

Susan - Love your avatar.  It makes no sense, as I'm of a mature age and never had kids, but I think that Hello Kitty is THE cutest!  Smiley Happy

Anyway, the ones that QVC sells are made in China so that could account for the price differential.  Just an FYI, as I'm sure that they don't shout that from the rooftops like they used to when they were made in the US.

I have a Cuisinart 9speed that I've had for many years and always loved, so I figure that 9 speeds is more than enough.  Smiley Happy

Pook - that's a serious lot of cookies!!

Yes, I have it and I like it very much. It's not like I'm whipping up angel food cakes or anything like that. Probably use it three times a month so it is perfect for me and DH.

I love Hello Kitty and I am almost 55.  You are never too old.

Thanks everyone.

I have it and like it for quick, small jobs instead of using the big stand mixer.  It operates smoothly and isn't super noisy.

I had one, red with all the attachments.  Bought it a few years ago when it was about $100.00.  It lasted a few years of LIGHT use then died last year.   NOT happy.  (I used it 4-5 times a year to make cookies.)

I do own this hand mixer and love it. Have had it several years now and no problems. Sure beats pulling out my large mixer. I hardly use that anymore now. For a hand help mixer, it quite a bit of power.
