Like Fiesta, KitchenAid decided that 2024 is the year of soft blue, debuting the color Blue Salt:

When looking at the images on their website, I am not really a fan of the iridescent finish, but the color is lovely overall.

That color knocks my socks off!!! If I didn't have a KA stand mixer, that is the color I would buy!!!

That color would be a "no" for me.  I don't like washed-out.

Note: The Blue Salt color is currently exclusive to the KitchenAid website and only available in a stand mixer for now, but for $499.99, the bundle is pretty nice:

@Kachina624 - I think they gave it the iridescent finish to avoid having the color just be a pale blue, but that makes the design a big "no" for me because I wouldn't want to buy a blue mixer that looks like a pink mixer in some lighting.

That is a pretty color, I think.  However, I am not getting rid of my current mixer just for a new color.

Pretty color but wouldn't go with my kitchen....maybe my fantasy beach kitchen.  But if I had my fantasy beach house I wouldn't be doing any baking!

@customerqvc2 - No, no, you don't swap mixers—you buy a new one! Obviously, we all have the expansive kitchens and pantries shown on cooking shows that allow us to own four or five KitchenAid mixers that we choose from to coordinate with the season, an event, or just our emotional state of the day.   

(Seriously, though, I'd love to own two KitchenAid mixers in different colors, even if my baking activities wouldn't justify that and I'd have nowhere to put another one.)

It's very pretty but I still prefer Cobalt Blue for my kitchen.
