Ok Ladies, I bought this because of the dicing kit. Now can you tell me HOW TO GET THE TOP OFF??? Directions are inside, do I have to pry it off? Doesn't turn that I can tell. Don't have much strength in my hands any longer couldn't pull it off. I wanted to wash all the parts today and the kit is still intact. Hints anyone.

I just received mine... Same problem. The darn top wont come off... I know it's "supposed" to twist off like the other attachment... but it's not happening. I'd send the whole thing back - except I gave my old (different brand) processor to my sister (and it had everything KA does, and was easy to set up in seconds....) and the cost to return it. NOT enjoying the newest KA product in my kitchen

Sent mine back the day I got it. Too many pieces. Had trouble getting lids on and off. Not worth the hassle for me. It seemed easier watching it on TV. I will continue to use all my Genius Nicer Dicers. Hassle free!

Re: KitchenAid Food Processor~!! Wow!

Sounds like good and bad on this K41996 food processor. It's getting really cold this weekend. I'm going to break out my old KitchenAid FP and my old 6 qt KA Mixer and make bread and lemon cake. I love my old-fashioned comfortable kitchen friends!
