Kitchen gadgets: biggest waste of money?

Spin-off of my "favorite kitchen gadget thread". What kitchen item did you HAVE to get and find later that you rarely use it...or it didn't perform as expected?

Personally, it was my immersion blender. While it's great for gravy, I only do gravy maybe 3 times a year and use my Ninja blender for everything else. My waffle iron also gathers dust, but that was inherited from my MIL.
