When I did a kitchen redo, it was for appliances only...Next will be the counter tops. When I redid my bathroom, I got new faucets in my home, and had a tall on installed in my kitchen with the spray in the faucet. Where they plugged where the old sprayer was, has just never been right. My intent is for new counter tops with a deep sink undermount. I had this in my old house, and miss it sooooo much. My smaller side had a garbage disposal, but I would never do that in South GA on a septic system because of the water table.

In my entire life I've never had anything but a standard double sink, standard depth.  Just used to it, I guess, so a new one would be the same.  Stainless.

@ptagirl----I am going to find the  same type of sink I have now except-- ,it will be one basin, not 2 divided--and prob stainless so the the upkeep is simpler---Mine now is a bisque porcelain  with that stupid hump in the middle--can't wash any of the bigger sized things a kitchen can have and need to scrub it alot to remove the staining. And the new faucet won't be 8 miles above it. Sink  is about 7" inches deep so may go a litte deeper but not much. I know what the prices are and all the parts needed so won't be a huge surprise--will have a plumber here for bathroom renos, this summer,  so will do the sink then.
