My new sink will be a single basin. I have one with 2 bowls and I hate the stupid thing---can't do anything very big in it .

I changed to a single bowl deep sink many years ago. My husband was sure I'd hate it. Well he was wrong. I still love that sink, so nice to be able to soak the turkey roasting pan, big baking sheets etc.

 

There's always something to be handwashed that I can use for soapy water. I almost never fill the sink with water.

 

We don't have a garbage disposal as we're on a septic tank. Haven't missed using one for 30 years. Would hate to lose my dishwasher though LOL.
