Kitchen Aid Mixer leaking oil

Anyone else have this problem? I purchased my Artisan Kitchen Aid mixer_ tilt head_

from QVC and was distressed to see a major brown oil leak from the area where the

beaters attach. There are lots of customer complaints on consumer boards and on

KA's Facebook page about this issue. KA denies that this is a problem.
