This is the annual King Arthur flour blog showing kitchen bloopers. Some funny stuff!

Oh my goodness, so funny.

One time I had "hidden" Halloween candy in a Walmart bag in the oven. You guessed it - I forgot it was there & turned the oven on!

Oh, what a mess! I should have taken a picture of that! Daughter was verrrrrry sad! All that work treat or treating for nothing!

Sadly I recognize some of these misses.

I've had my share of failures, but these are doozies! Bless all of us who bake.

Thanks for posting this, lacey. Smile I was laughing so hard while reading these descriptions, and looking at the photos, too. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I have had my own share of failures. What's worse is when you are trying to make something for some kind of party or event, and it doesn't turn out the right way. It's one thing when you are just trying out a new recipe and it's just for yourself/spouse/family, but another thing when you were going to bake it for others that were counting on your contribution for a party, potluck, etc.

These are so funny because I recognize some of these fails. If you bake enough, you will fail sometimes.
