What mixtures did/do you love together?

As a kid, vanilla ice cream, Hershey's syrup, and potato chips.  My first chip dip!!!

Do you have a favorite?

I used to butter my bread for a PB&J and I would also add a layer of potato chips inside.

One of my favorite sandwiches used to be a PB and banana, even as an adult, up until two years ago.

My kids taught me about pizza with ranch dressing.  They learned that one in the school cafeteria.

Bologna, coleslaw and potato chips on a large hamburger roll.  Still eat it now and then.

I loved toast dipped in V8 juice.

I liked vanilla ice cream with Tang powder on top.

My grandson fixed himself a sandwich the other day. A hot dog bun. A slice of Kraft cheese. A handfull of Munchies on top.

Munchies are a mix of Doritos, Sunchips, pretzels & Cheetos (all miniature size) in one bag.

We always went swimming to the lake every week in the summer. We lived out in the country & just up the road from our house was a small local chip company called Tripps chips. If you went there in the mornings you could get a large metal can of warm out of the fryer chips. We would stuff ourselves with those before we got to the lake that was about 15-20mins away. One summer all I wanted to eat was a sandwich made of my grandma's homemade wheat bread spread with mayo, swiss cheese (I live in the heart of dairy country), iceberg lettuce & Tripps chips. I moved back home about 8 yrs ago. That house where Tripps chips was is still there. I go by there occassionally but sadly they closed about 25 years ago. So many good memories.

Many times, I took a bologna sandwich for lunch in elementary school along with a baggie full of plain potato chips.  I always put a lot of my chips on the sandwich and ate it that way.
