@ellaphant Won' t happen ! Try contacting the company *directly* express your opinion to them. Doing it here does nothing.

@ellaphant

Several companies sell compostable Kcups. Hopefully, others will too.

Was I the only one who double-checked the posting date of the OP?

I mean....K-Cups have been around for quite some time.

Curious to see why the focus today?

Re: Keurig terrible waste of plastic.

I'm not concerned about the pods or the plastic straws.  Of course, they use plastic, but within the amounts of items causing environmental damage they're low on the totem pole of offenders.

Having said that, when I can find coffee I like in them, I buy recyclable pods.  Even Publix sells them.  I don't have to go to Amazon!

I have to go to Amazon, because I live in the middle of nowhere.      Never been in a Publix store.  We have A Walmart and a Krogers, that is it for the whole county.   Nearest mall is one hour and 20 minutes away.

That is the need for online shopping.

I saw a wooden pallet of these K cups at Costco a few years back and had the same thought, more trash.  I don’t understand why time would change that opinion.  In Europe the pods are all made out of paper like teabags. No plastic at all.
