Interesting article on the internet today. The inventor of the K-Cup says that he is kind of sorry he ever invented it. It apparently is very hard to recycle due to the plastic on the outside, the filter material on the inside and the metal in the seal. It apparently is very work-intensive to take all the materials apart and recycle them.
I knew there was a reason I didn't like them! I guess the best thing to do is to use the "my k-cup" types of things you can buy and use your own coffee instead of spending money on teh regular K-Cups.
