I am NOT mechanically inclined. I'm rather pathetic when it comes to putting things together actually. So, if there's anyone out there close to being as bad as I, here's how the KitchenAid C/S lady on and I finally figured out how to do it. (She confirmed there are no instructions on how to do it, but through trial and error we figured it out!)
First goes the drive adapter, then the steel blade, next goes the dough blade; now the tricky part: the thick slice disc goes in next, followed by the thin slice disc, and finally, the medium slice disc. Then the cover will fit!
I don't understand why this order of placement worked. Perhaps the othe discs are defective - I'll soon find out. But if you're having problems getting all the parts to store inside this processor, that's what worked for us. Hope this helps someone else out!
Must say, KitchenAid C/S is very nice. She actually got a processor and we did this together!
