Just in time for Summer...Mangoritas! T.J.'s Mixer is delicious

My favorite new Trader Joe's item is Mango Margarita Mixer. Picked up 3 more bottles today Heart This is not the exact item, but it looks like this image with a different label

No alcohol included or needed, but my favorite new Summer drink recipe is:

  • Trader Joe's Mango Margarita Mixer
  • Patron tequila (2 to 1 ratio, 2 being the mixer...unless you want to hang from the rafters Woman LOL)
  • Lime, sliced
  • Chilled margarita or martinI glasses
  • Fill a shaker with ice, add the mango mixer + tequila; shake it up like a Polaroid picture Woman Wink
  • Strain/pour the deliciousness into the chilled glasses, add lime

We served it for Father's Day brunch and it was a hit! Enjoy Heart

Here is another mango drink recipe to try from TJ's website

Mangorita!

Bursting with mango sweetness, balanced by citrus tartness, and kicked up with Chile Lime Seasoning, this drink invites you to refresh, revitalize, and really, really revel in Mangorita! moments.

Serves: 2 Prep Time: 10 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Prepare the Glasses
Place the chile lime seasoning in a shallow dish or spread in a small pile (shape depends on glass) on a clean cutting board. Rub a slice of lime around the rim of each glass. Turn glasses over and place directly in the pile seasoning; twist and turn it so the rim gets coated with seasoning.

Blend the Mangorita:
Place mango, 1 tablespoon lime juice, mango margarita mix, tequila and ice into a blender. Pulse several times until mixture is well blended and slushy.

Pour into chile-lime rimmed glasses, garnish (optional), sip back and revel.

Oooh!  I'm going to look for that!  I made whole fruit margaritas in the Vitamix for Father's Day.  I've been making them for a month or so and have done many batches so I've gotten pretty good at it.  Today I tried a Pina Colada in the Vitamix for the first time.  It came out pretty good, but I have to tinker with it a bit.

Thanks for posting about the other mango products too, @Chi-town girlSmiley Happy

That mango lemonade looks really refreshing! There's nothing like a nice, really cold glass of lemonade during some hot weather, to help cool you off, in my opinion! Smiley Very Happy

Those mango bonbons look good!  It's spelled wrong on the packaging.  I just checked, and multiple dictionaries have it as all one word.  How does this happen?  Years ago, a bread company had the word connoisseur spelled wrong on their packaging.  I'd always check to see whether they'd corrected it, but they never did.
