Re: Just have to ask about your peanut butter habits.

Hi Quality & Ladies--I def agree about it being its own food group!Smiley Happy I love nut butters in general, especially Almond. TJs makes a salted crunchy that's delish. I also love Justin's nut butters, but their produced are pretty high. I think one smallish jar is now $11.99 at my Whole Foods.:-0 Justin's Maple Almond is one of my favorites. My favorite lighter breakfast or lunch lately is 1/2 a bagel with crunchy almond or pb, dotted with pomegranate seeds. Sounds weird, but it is soooooooo delish! I've also discovered JIF Natural--which for a bigger name natural PB is really good. My DH's favorite snack is a banana smeared with nut butter. And I love it smeared on apples.Smiley Happy

I like Jif Crunchy on regular Triscuits. I eat these with apple slices.

Re: Just have to ask about your peanut butter habits.

I have fairly good self control when it comes to food choices (minimizing carbs, sugar, etc) -- but I can't control my love of peanut butter. I no longer keep it in the house because I slowly empty a container in a couple of days (one little harmless spoonful at a time). Now I reserve peanut butter for days I'm traveling (better than airport food) or as a take along treat when hiking. I know peanut butter isn't bad for you in moderation -- but, I can't seem to eat it in moderation so I just don't have it around.
