Just had the best McIntosh apple

Got to buy some really big ones this last week.  I'm amazed these are so good, this much past Sep.  Usually those are the best.  But I love Mac's!!!

 

What's your favorite apple? A great piece of apple pie ala mode sounds good doesn't it?

I like McIntosh, but my favorite apples are Jonathan. But they are very hard to find.

I like apples that are firm, crisp and juicy.  If they are mealy or dry, yuk!

 

I have been enjoying the honey crisps from Michigan. I eat one every afternoon!

I like Macs too but they're so often disappointing (soft!), especially this late in the season.  It's great you got such good ones.

Since we're in MI, many of the relatives love the Honey Crisps too.

I no longer eat apples.  When I did, Gala, Honeycrisp, and Red Delicious were my favorites, unless I was making a pie.
