I agree with everything you said.

I think the last time I found Jonathans was at an orchard about 50 miles from my house.

I've recently become a fan of the Jazz apples.  Bought a couple when they were on sale, and now it's my preferred eating apple.  Still use Granny Smith and Golden Delicious in most of my baked items.
