I admit haven't watched a lot of Q lately but I haven't seen a lot of Temptations this season or ITKWD segments.
As I was taking out my everyday holiday dishes I was thinking about this (I have red OW/green OW pieces, cardinal for holiday).
Do you think it's run its course - if so, wonder what will take its place? Maybe bring Lidia pieces back they are my favorite go to pieces.

Funny you should post this. I have been thinking the same things lately.
First, it is really noticeable how little there was for Christmas/winter offerings from TT this year. I'm always disappointed that she never 'finishes' the winter patterns (except poinsettia has quite a bit). I have the couple of Holly pieces ever offered (9x13 and a covered round casserole) and all the Cardinal pieces. They coordinate so well, and I wish she had continued this line.
There were no TT TSV's this year, and that is really telling to me. The last several TSV's they did have, did not sell out, and they were on a dinnerware binge for TSVs that was getting pretty boring.
Tara started yet another company of home sales bakeware "Tara at Home" and I think this is not only her main focus this past year, but I think she is beginning the decline of her line on Q. I think they saturated the market, had quite a few quality control issues and may indeed past their prime.

Oh, and the Lydia stuff is wonderful. I always felt they didn't continue that line because it was so well made, that they couldn't continue to get in manufactured for the price point they were going to need.
I found it after it went on clearance, and got several sets in three different colors. It performs and hold up so much better than Temp-tations. I certainly wish they had expanded that line. Even if they brought it back, I guarantee it wouldn't be as good quality.

and quite a lot in clearance section with substantial price cuts (not like $5!) although limited color selection. I saw the big 18 piece set which was $129 is now $89. There are 30-35 different sets/etc. in clearance section That is certainly a good indicator!
I can't imagine doing home party sales and carrying stoneware into homes, etc. to heavy for me! Or maybe she's branching into other home decor pieces. I haven't seen anything on her home business.

I had to change the papertowel roll this a.m. and I looked around to see what I have as Temptations that I'm using.
Paper towel roll holder
the large container for flour, using as a utencil (larger) holder by the stove.
Large bird that has measuring spoons for a tail, the other one whose tail can be removed to put salt in, and 2 small S & P ones for baby birds. They set on my table. Only as a center piece.
All in the same color. Old world mauve I guess it was called. ??
Everything else I have, is stored in the basement, of this brand.
Lock and Lock is another story. Use it a lot!! But alas, I really have more than I need. But that's a great product. I use it for more than kitchen things.

yep, I have noticed the lack of TSVs this year for temptations too. Remember last year they practically devoted the month of August to Temptations? This year nothing.

I hope this line is declining and on its way out. I had a few of the early pieces and they were made solid. Lasted about 10 years for me. I bought some newer stuff and I now have NONE of it left as they all broke. The quailty of this product is shoddy at best anymore. It's downright dangerous and I hope it's all being retired.

I haven't had any problems with what I have bought and would like to get some complementary pieces in cranberry Old World. What I have is Green OW. I will say I don't cook a lot and I haven't actually cooked in any of them, and I hand wash, so maybe that's why.
However, I have to wonder if the decline in quality is due to QVC pushing for lower prices or to keep the prices low even if it costs more to make them. I noticed another thread the other day where the person was complaining that she could no longer seem to find the original size croissants they sell here. That what she thought was the original size was actually smaller. And another person commented that they were less buttery than they used to be. Sounds like cost cutting to me.

I've wondered about the cost cutting too. I noticed that Rachael Ray was promoting a bakeware set with mainly small pieces. It seemed like a sleazy way of making money by not offering the more basic everyday pieces. Her cookware sets seem to be getting smaller too.
