Re: Just a reminder - Curtis Stone back!

Thank you for the reminder - I ordered it in the new blue!!

I'm new to his cookware, have the 3 piece plus lids set in red and love it.  I do use cast iron (all of mine are the older ones) but there are some things I prefer to use the non-stick for and his are the best.  I only have had them for a short time, so we'll see how they last, but I'm optimistic about that.

Re: Just a reminder - Curtis Stone back!

I want a small dutch oven . all those 5 qt and up is to big for us. All Walmart has is Pioneer gal and her 5.5 qt heavy as a horse pot I'm not hefting that around I'd bust an elbow. LOL

guess I'll go to Bed and Bath. Nothing wrong with the one I got Rachael Ray orangey one it's heavy too. Enamel cast iron, don't think it's as big as Pioneer girlie's though. Need one still smaller.

I bought his baking set with the two sheet pans, two cake pans and one muffin pan.  I really like the cake pans and muffin pan, but the baking sheets are a dud.  They warped in the oven.  I have the deep pizza pan and love that one.  The insert for the deep pizza pan should be larger though.  It is not a great fit for the pan.

@saltysails I also got the baking set, and I love it! I make low-carb egg cups in the muffin tin with a slice of ham, some spinach, crack and egg in it, and sprinkle goat cheddar on top. I bake them in the oven, and they don't stick! I don't have to add any oil in the tin, so that saves a step!

I also made a lemon meringue cake during the holidays, and the cake came out easily out of the pans. I just buttered them a little bit, and it was fine.

The sheet pans arrived a little dented, but I decided I wouldn't return them. I've made a pan full of roasted Brussels sprouts and red onion, and nothing stuck! It was easier to clean than when I roast veggies in a Pyrex baking dish.

Clean up of his items is the best! The pans of his have really lasted, and the coating hasn't chipped.

I ordered the TS, even though I don't really need it. I bought the Stone color, which looks like it'll make a great serving piece. I have a nonstick grill pan, but I like how easy his nonstick is to clean, and my Calphalon grill pan takes a little more scrubbing.

I have a large steamer for the Everyday Pan. It really holds a lot. Great addition.

Who all is getting his TSV?  I already have a nice grill pan, but could use a new "everyday" pan, and I don't have a dutch oven.

Do you think it would be enough room in it, when using as a dutch oven, to make a chicken, for example?  I'm not that sure what one might use this for?

I know his stuff is good quality, I have a couple of his fry pans.

I was so tempted I ordered the TS.  I love that he offers white cookware.  I have his 3 pc. set and his cookie sheets and love  the items I have.  Wasn't sure I needed such a large pan as today's TS since I only cook for myself.  I figured it would be good for pot roast  or spaghetti sauce when I don't want to use the slow cooker.  Also the pan would be good for stir frys.  I hope it isn't too heavy for me.

Re: Just a reminder - Curtis Stone back!

I'm bummed because when I pre-ordered they didn't have ALL these great colors -- I got black☹️ I love the blue or red! Can't change order per CS.

I bought CE 4 qt braiser cast iron on clearance -- it's great but sooooo heavy! Then I bought the newer "lightweight" version with grill pan lid -- one small burger can fit.  Very small.

I'm looking forward to getting this pan!  His products IMO are exceptional compared to others at this "price point".

Re: Just a reminder - Curtis Stone back!

Just got the red one, even though the other colors are nice. I also ordered the steamer and the carving set. His products are wonderful and while I can't think of an immediate need, the price was good considering what those pieces are selling for individually. I already have his sous vide stick so I like watching to see what else I can make. He just seems so nice. I hope everyone enjys their purchases. And I think it was posted here that next weekend is Wolfgang. He can pretty much sell me any appliance, but not those big pan sets. I wonder what his TS will be. Anyone know?

Re: Just a reminder - Curtis Stone back!

I ordered the TS and a steamer inset.  I already have some of his pans and the bakeware and I am very pleased with those.  The only thing I am disappointed in is that today they were offering the royal blue which I would have preferred but since it wasn't offered on the other pans I got, I went with the turquoise.  It is a pretty color but the darker blue would have matched my kitchen better.

I am going to look now and see if he has any cookbooks.  He makes cooking look easy!

@Daysdee I use one of his 12" pans to cook weekend brunch for myself. I cook the hashbrowns, a couple fried eggs and a sausage patty or two and only have one pan to clean up! I also want to try to roast a chicken in it since the cast iron Dutch oven I usually use doesn't clean up as easily as his pans.

Re: Just a reminder - Curtis Stone back!

I own his large everyday dura-pan along with the steamer insert/lid...Love it!

Also have his double rectangular roaster pan in black...the top and the bottom both can be used on the stove-top and in the oven...great for stirfry and grilled sandwiches...also fits a 15 lb. turkey without problems..

I did order the TS in black...I'm hoping this will fit in my Breville countertop oven ...keeping my fingers crossed ..(maybe if I turn it somewhat..hope, hope...), ...but thought it would be good for smaller casseroles, etc...and I like the grill pan...

I LOVE the heavy aluminum cookware..the heat distributes so nice and even, especially while baking...

I also own 3 of his roll-up trivets...LOVE them, too!... Use one everyday for draining dishes, and also put them on top of my rolling kitchen cart and use them for a large cooling rack for when I bake large amounts of cookies, etc.  ... works great for that, too....
