Thanks for the nice replies! We are counting down the days till vacation. Some items we don't want to forget to pack get put on the bed in the spare room. We take our small keurig and a supply of k-cups! Don't want to be without our coffee.

Oh, that is periwinkle I spy in there! How pretty! I use those huge cups as a bowl too. They are great. You are posting from your phone? I got a new phone last fall, but I think I have only posted on here one time from my phone. I just wanted to see if it worked, lol.

We got about an inch of snow, too, but it was horrible while coming down. Big mess on the highway.

Well, tomorrow I'm taking off for my semi-annual color, cut and perm for my upcoming birthday. (I only get two perms a year to preserve my hair--more color and cuts intermittently.) It's supposed to be cold and windy and I can't wash my hair until Sun, so I use enough hairspray to keep it together for that long. Luckily, not working on the weekend.

I'm going to my friend's funeral tomorrow, not looking forward to this. I got a horrible cold yesterday so I had to leave work early today. My first cold since getting my nose fixed, it's so strange not having insane congestion!!!

I always think of a funeral as a huge celebration of a life, and a support system. We go out of love for the families , or if you don't know the family (just the deceased) out of respect for your relationship. It is an honor to go and celebrate the life of someone you care about. Some funerals are sadder, and more depressing than others. I have also gone to funerals where everyone just laughed and joked, because that is what the deceased brought into our life. I have even gone to funerals and never met the deceased.

I hope all goes well tomorrow. I hope your cold mends itself. That really makes things hard when you do not feel well.

Oh Wismiss! You got me in trouble today. I had received a 20% discount from Kohl's and thought to myself with all I buy, I should have gotten a 30% (even though I know they are sent randomly). But when I saw that 30%, I just had to go over to their site and purchase a few items. I have been wanting the Fiesta pedestal bowl in turquoise and also, even though the toothbrush holder wasn't on sale, I still thought with 30% off, it was a good deal. So of course, I had to buy it in lemongrass. My husband also could use a pair of jeans, so I found them too and with that added to my cart I had enough to get free shipping. What a great day!

I only stopped over to wish everyone who celebrates Easter a joyous and happy Easter and also to wish Kutira a happy Passover. I never expected to find a 30% off discount promo code. Happy Easter to me!

That Fiesta flatware tray looks great. But the discount is only with a charge card, as usual so nothing for me.

I am off to the birthday parties! Birthday every week here for a couple months. My granddaughter from college is home for her birthday. 3D, I got her the Vera Bradley frame travel bag. I t is a great weekended!

Here's a hint on Kohl's - I got it from my friend who worked there.

Just go to the desk and tell them you got a 20% off coupon and would be buying more if you could get 30% off, please.

Ask nicely and they will give you the larger discount.

I tried it and it worked for me. I got 4 place settings (included fruit bowl) for $66. This was last year.

terrier3--that is good information to have! I never knew that you could do something like that at Kohls. By the way, do you have terriers since that is your online name? I grew up with toy fox terriers and my grandfather had a wire hair terrier.

Thank you Wismiss for the info on the 30%. I am really trying to hold off until the new color comes out. I am hoping that when I see it, I will be in "love" and have to get all the pieces that I have for each place setting. Does anyone remember when the new color comes to the stores? Is it May or June?

I see that the battle is still on for those Sapphire pieces and Shoekitty, the seller said that they would adjust the shipping down from what is shown. The seller doesn't know where the shipping amount came from and will tell the winner what the real shipping is.
