This brings back memories because my cousin in Innsbruck, Austria always has a hazelnut cake like this sitting around. Whenever you show up, it is always coffee and this cake. I love it.

thank you for the recipe. I so miss European café/bakeries, even the trucks like the current food trucks but nicer. Hmm, plum kucken.
