I was watching Home for Dinner with Jamie Deen this morning (I like his show, I know a lot don't but I do) & it was themed Taco Night. He remarked how they liked the squared bottomed taco shells (I think Ole El Paso came out with them awhile ago) but he used soft corn tortillas, mixed 1-2 Tb. evoo & salt & pepper to taste & then spread both sides of the tortilla with it. Prehead oven to 350 & then drape each tortilla over 2 of the oven rack sections (I don't know what the heck you call them). Bake for 8-10 minutes & you have your own squared shells. This would be good as I'm sure the bought shells are full of preservatives. I thought this was brilliant myself! Maybe someone already thought of it but I sure hadn't heard of it before.
